James M. McFarlin, Chief Financial Officer and VP Administration

James (Jim) McFarlin is a certified public accountant with 28 years of diverse experience in the public and private accounting industries. In addition to his responsibilities in finance and accounting, Jim also oversees human resources, MIS and office administration. An eight-year veteran with Paradigm Learning, Jim has been an integral part of the company’s infrastructure growth and development of accounting systems, initial office setup, HR policies and procedures, benefit packages, computer systems and software programs.

After graduating from Illinois State University, Jim obtained his CPA license and worked in public accounting for ten years' with increasing emphasis on assisting health care entities with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and purchase/sale of retirement facilities.

Jim subsequently worked in private industry for 15 years as part of management groups in the health care industry. He has participated in fast-growth entities, with sales revenues increasing from $2 million to $20 million in five years and selling for more than $30 million.
