Sales Director

Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a Sales Director in the location listed above. This individual will sell our full range of corporate education and communication solutions to local, national and multi-national businesses.

The successful candidate for this position must have demonstrated success selling intangibles to Human Resource, Marketing, Internal Communications, and/or Finance executives. They will be directly responsible for all phases of the business development process from prospecting to long-term account relationships.

  • --Minimum of five years of profitable sales experience selling to human resource professionals within multi-national businesses
  • --Proven ability to sell human performance improvement intangibles to executives and/or other key decision-makers
  • --Self starter; highly organized with effective time management skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • --Able to create annual sales plans to outline the strategy for meeting assigned sales targets through building the required pipeline of qualified opportunities and moving those opportunities        successfully through the sales process
  • --Proven ability to build and execute strategic account plans with both new and existing accounts
  • --Able to secure own appointments as a result of lead follow-up, prospecting cold-calls and leveraging existing relationships
  • --Strong communication, networking, writing, negotiation, and persuasion skills in one on one, small group and large group presentation settings (in person, teleconference, and virtual)
