Raymond (Ray) Green
Chief Executive Officer
Ray, with partner Catherine Rezak, founded Paradigm Learning in 1994. He leads the company's overall strategic vision and oversees its financial health, including the management of banking and investor relationships. He also chairs Paradigm's executive management team, directs strategy and deals with growth issues such as joint ventures, strategic alliances and acquisitions.
Ray has accepted several prestigious awards on behalf of Paradigm Learning, including the 2007 Thought Leadership Award from ISA – The Association of Learning Providers, the University of Florida's Florida 100 Award as one of the state's fastest-growing companies, and ISA's prestigious Business of the Year Award for innovative products, company growth, customer recognition and employee culture.
He has been a recognized contributor to the community, most notably for his donations to the Florida Council on Economic Education. An economics education program, Strive to Drive, was designed for use with high school students throughout the state, and Paradigm Learning's premier business finance program, Zodiak®: The Game of Business Finance and Strategy, was donated for the training of teachers. Most recently, he donated the use of the beach preservation program “Plant Our Beaches” to this organization and has twice been presented with the Council's President's Leadership Award.
Ray has more than 30 years' experience in human resource consulting and training field — first as director of national sales training for a Fortune 500 company, and then as an independent consultant to corporate clients around employee selection, leader assessment, management training, employee development, sales training, customer service, financial literacy and business acumen.
Ray grew up in South Carolina, served in the U.S. Navy and attended Furman University. He splits his time between St. Petersburg, Fla., and Asheville, N.C. He is a certified Master Scuba Diver and enjoys hiking, kayaking, writing, cooking and listening to great music.
